Silver Statue of David after Donatello

The statue of the Biblical figure, David, is considered to be one of Donatello's landmark works and a milestone in the Italian Renaissance. This statue is entirely made of silver depicts David at a moment of triumph in his battle with the Philistine Goliath. Bears the marking of 800 silver. The base measures 3/4'' in height and 3.5'' in width. The figure measures 9.75'' in height. Weighs 43 ozt.
