Pair of Richard Cooke, English sterling silver covered dishes from 1807 (Georgian era) with beautiful crisp repousse floral designs on the lids and bases, adorned with finials. They measure 11 3/4'' by 8 1/3'' by 4 3/4'' in height with the lid (1 3/4'' without), weigh 108.6 troy ounces, and bear hallmarks as shown. 

Richard Cooke registered his first mark in 1799. He supplied the leading Royal retailers, such as Rundell & Co. A.G. Grimwade in his work, "London Goldsmiths, 1697-1837", emphasizes that his work is of a high standard. Some of his pieces have been sold at prestigious auction houses, such as Christie’s.
