Chinese Export Silver Centerpiece Bowl With Dragon Motif by Nanking

Chinese silver centerpiece bowl with an enamoring pierced border designed with dragons and flowers in raised relief. Measuring approximately 10 1/2 inches in diameter and 1 1/3 inches tall. Weighing 14.9 troy ounces. Bearing hallmarks as shown.

This bowl was made most likely for export to Europe and is a testimony to the historical entanglements between China and Europe in the late 19th/early 20th centuries.
