Israeli partially gilt sterling silver tzedakah or charity box by Netafim, shaped as a realistic house with doors, windows, a chimney, an opening, and the word "tzedakah" applied. It measures 3 1/2'' in height by 3 1/2'' in width by 1 3/4'' in depth, weighs 5.3 ozt, and bears hallmarks as shown. 

Netafim is a prestigious Israeli silversmith. Born in 1914 to a family of silversmiths, founder Shimon Nataf of blessed memory learned his craft as a child. As time passed, he became recognized as one of the foremost silver artisans – among them official silversmiths to the Royal Court. He  immigrated to Israel with his family in 1947. In recognizing of its outstanding quality, Netafim 55 has been chosen by the Great Temple Institute to reconstruct the sacred utensils used in the Holly Tabernacle.
